Being older, and with a knee replacement, Lola requires a different level of care.

Jasmine’s calming demeanor, positive reinforcement, constructive feedback on what we can do to make Lola less nervous, along with her breaking the grooming process into more manageable sessions have all contributed to making Lola’s grooming experience a positive one.

  • My dog Paulie is a rescue.

    When we first got him 3 years ago, he was 2 year-old. He was insecure, scared and lonely. He needed grooming very badly (his behavior was a concern).

    After Jasmine came to meet Paulie, she recommended a "behavioral training" which would calm, relax and get comfortable him with her. During the training, Jasmine also gave me some very useful strategies/tools to practice with him.

    It has been more than 2 years, Paulie now feels very comfortable with Jasmine and his behavior is greatly improved!

  • The price was well worth it!

    I was having trouble with Ana and nail trims. She was just getting really bitey and really stressed out. Lots of struggle. She would try to get underneath things and hide. Practically impossible to do it. The dog trainers at Ahimsa recommended Jasmine!

    We worked about 10 weeks. I don’t think she was an easy case. But the training itself was 5 minutes a day. It wasn’t a lot to get her comfortable. Now she lays and eats treats while Jasmine cuts her nails. It was DEFINITELY worth it.

    Now she lays and eats treats and lets Jasmine trim her nails. She has the choice to get up and leave. She chooses not to. And she’s really happy to see Jasmine all the time too!

  • We wanted to start Moses with not being afraid of nail trims.

    We had another dog before Moses where nail trims were really, really hard. We had to come up with all sorts of things including medicating her to have her get her nails trimmed. None of the strategies really worked.

    First of all, he’s not afraid when Jasmine gets here. It’s seamless. It’s been absolutely no problem. He doesn’t even flinch when Jasmine comes. And I don’t worry about it. I don’t get anxious. He doesn’t get anxious.

    If it’s out of 10 stars, I recommend Jasmine at 11 stars. I hope Jasmine never moves!

How great a groomer (and trainer) is Jasmine? On a grooming day a few years ago, while Jasmine was bathing my Scottie Brenna, my other Scottie, Duncan, jumped from a chair onto Jasmine’s grooming table, put his head through the loop, and stood there waiting expectantly for the treats, praise and gentle touch he had grown to love and anticipate from his good buddy Jasmine.

As a former dog trainer myself, I can tell you a groomer who truly loves dogs and understands dog behavior at a deep level is extremely hard to find. We are truly fortunate to have found Jasmine and would recommend her to anyone!
